The Eugenides Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation, which was established in 1956 by Eugene Eugenides with a mission to enhance the scientific, technological and technical education in Greece.

Eugenides Foundation is today the largest national visitor attraction in the field of non-formal science education, receiving annually more than 350,000 visitors of all ages, 50% of which are school groups.

The Foundation activities include academic scholarships, publications specializing in technical education, a fully equipped library, the New Digital Planetarium, one of the largest and best-equipped digital planetaria in the world, and the Interactive Science and Technology Exhibition dedicated to current issues of science and technology.

As part of the effort to encourage science communication and learning, the Eugenides Foundation implements an all-year round reach-out programme in the field of ‘Science, Technology, Society’.
